Aaron Yassin is a skilled artist and designer with a specialization in precision project management. His broad based practice incorporates fine art mediums -- drawing, painting, photography, video, architectural installation -- along with principle design forms including interior, product, and lighting design. Yassin has utilized his skills, honed in a carear spanning 25 years, on international projects from Hong Kong to Switzerland to Qatar, as well as numerous projects in the United States. Retail clients include Tiffany & Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, and The Joyce Boutique among others. Residential and hospitality projects include work in New York City and Washington D.C. He has exhibited his artwork extensively at galleries and museums including the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, PS122 in NYC, The Juan B. Castagnino Art Museum in Rosario, Argentina, the Hong-Gah Musuem in Taipei, and the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing. Yassin studied at the School of the Art Institue of Chicago where he earned his BFA, the Accademia di Belle Arti Pietro Vannucci, in Perugia, Italy, and the American University in Washington D.C. where he earned his MFA.
Armand Graham is an innovative architect and designer with extensive experience in design and construction at all scales. He believes that good design can not only solve problems, but also inspire and have a transformative impact on people’s lives. Graham, who was born and spent his early years in France, has worked on projects throughout the world in Italy, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, France and China. Prior to founding A+A Studio, Graham was a lead designer for the award-winning Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi built by avant-garde architecture firm Asymptote Architecture. As part of a team at ARUP Engineers he served as the Project Architect for the Venice Airport Expansion in Italy. More recently, he has designed and built many residential projects in and around New York City including lofts, apartments, penthouses and luxury residences. Graham prides himself in being able to understand his clients’ needs and come up with inspired and uniquely creative solutions. Always focused on pushing the limits, he regularly uses cutting edge technology to design and build his projects. Graham received his Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and his bachelor's degree from Princeton University.

A+A Studio is an award-winning multidisciplinary design practice founded by principles Aaron Yassin and Armand Graham. Aaron is an artist and Armand an architect, and our practice combines our skills to craft new solutions ignited by our unique creative collaboration. We love to design and approach each project with a fresh eye, drawing on our extensive knowledge and first-hand experience of the history of architecture and art. We use new technologies but also focus on the hand made, and have worked in wood and metal shops ourselves and with artisans for years.
Our projects range from new homes to custom residential and commercial interiors, as well as lighting fixtures, other design objects, and custom fabrication. We’ve worked on many projects in New York City and internationally in many countries in Europe, the Persian Gulf and Asia. This extensive experience has given us a deep knowledge of diverse design practices as well as construction trades and techniques. Our work has received multiple design awards and has been widely published, including in The New York Times, Wallpaper, The Washingtonian, Lighting Magazine, DesignBoom, Bustler, and The Star Ledger among others.
